Mossa Launches MXview Wireless Add-on Module

In response, Mossa launched the "MXview Wireless Add-on Module" on the 10th, following its "MXview" industrial network management software.

The new module addresses the diverse needs of static and dynamic applications in smart manufacturing environments. Based on reliable network communication, it supports real-time network management from a single screen, allowing companies to focus on improving operational efficiency and maximizing system uptime.

By activating the MXview Wireless add-on module by December 31st of this year, users can enjoy all the module's features for free for one year.

Easily integrated into OT/IT systems, the module automatically discovers and visualizes network devices and physical connections, and enables immediate alarm setup with customizable trigger thresholds. It also provides a unified dashboard displaying wired and wireless network status, charts of device information and performance metrics, a dynamic topology view showing wireless link and connection changes, and a two-way roaming playback feature for reviewing client roaming history.

Unstable wireless connections can cause communication errors and incomplete on-site information, leading to incorrect decision-making. The MXview Wireless add-on module makes it easier for users to manage their networks by providing detailed information and performance metrics charts for individual APs and client devices directly from the device's dashboard.

Wireless connections are not visible to the naked eye and are affected by a variety of factors. The MXview wireless add-on module provides a dynamic topology view, allowing users to monitor the status of wireless links and changes in connectivity at a glance. This significantly reduces the time required to identify malfunctioning client devices.

“The MXview wireless add-on module’s roaming replay feature allows users to review roaming history from the past 30 days and even replay incidents,” said Lyra Li, product manager at Mossa. “This allows users to more efficiently identify and resolve root causes without having to consolidate and investigate logs from individual devices.”
