TI Korea (CEO Kent Chon, www.ti.com/ww/kr ) February 14, 2013 – TI (CEO Kent Chon) announced a low-voltage power management unit (PMU) that provides ultra-fast startup times of less than 10 ms. The new TPS659119-Q1 performs exceptionally well in automotive applications requiring instant-on capabilities, such as graphics clusters, infotainment, and ADAS (advanced driver assistance systems). It is also optimized for TI automotive OMAP™ processors, such as TI's DRA6x infotainment processor family (code name: Jacinto), as well as other ARM® Cortex™-A processors. The TPS659119-Q1 is factory-programmed and allows for customized power up/down sequencing based on the customer-selected processor and system power requirements.
