Changwon 3D Experience Innovation Center Opens
Gyeongnam Manufacturing Innovation, Talent Development, Job Creation Goals
Dassault Systèmes Korea employees and 5 partners move in


Dassault Systèmes announced on the 12th that it opened the 'Changwon 3DEXPERIENCE Innovation Center' in Changwon, Gyeongsangnam-do. The opening ceremony of the center, which aims to innovate manufacturing, foster talent, and create jobs in the Gyeongsangnam-do region, was attended by Dassault Systèmes executives and employees, as well as Gyeongsangnam-do Governor Kim Kyeong-soo, Changwon Mayor Heo Seong-moo, Changwon National University President Lee Ho-young, and Changwon Smart Green Industrial Complex Business Group Director Park Min-won.

In December 2019, Dassault Systèmes signed a business agreement with the Changwon Smart Industrial Complex Division, and has been building a collaborative system with local companies and supporting global smart manufacturing technology for the sustainable growth of Gyeongnam manufacturing. In addition, it is supporting the development of local talent by providing 3D technology experience using the 3D Experience platform for university students and technical education necessary for the field in cooperation with three universities in Changwon, Changwon National University, Moonseong University, and Gyeongnam National University.

In addition to fostering 3D experts through industry-academia cooperation, Dassault Systèmes is also operating a program to provide 3D digital education to local citizens who have taken a break from their careers and the unemployed, fostering them as ‘digital data creators.’ This is to transform 2D data into a 3D environment and establish Gyeongnam Province as the cornerstone of a leading region in the digital new deal.

Changwon 3D Experience Innovation Center is composed of △3D Experience Zone, △Public Space, △Office Space, and △5 Dassault Systèmes ‘Partner Office Spaces.’

Cho Young-bin, CEO of Dassault Systèmes Korea, said, “This center is the result of the efforts that Dassault Systèmes Korea and the Gyeongnam region have made together since 2019,” and added, “We will use the center as a base to foster talent and create jobs through industry-academia cooperation, and we will spare no support to help small and medium-sized manufacturing companies in the Changwon region advance into global companies.”
