EcoStruxure 43U Micro Data Center Unveiled

Schneider Electric announced on the 21st that it will launch the 'EcoStruxure™ Micro Data Center C-Series 43U' in September.

This product offers the highest capacity in Schneider Electric's micro data center product line for commercial and small computer rooms, and was unveiled at Schneider Electric's Innovation Day event in June. It provides a complete edge management solution with remote monitoring via EcoStruxure IT software and digital services.

Schneider Electric's portfolio of software and digital services gives customers the flexibility to seamlessly manage their critical infrastructure devices themselves, with a partner, or to have Schneider Electric's expert service engineers manage them on their behalf.

The new product is designed for IT professionals across a wide range of industries, including IT solution providers, banking, retail, healthcare, government, and education. It is designed for low-density application environments without 24/7 precision cooling, as well as sensitive IT environments such as IT closets and office spaces. The system automatically switches between three cooling modes—Active, Eco, and Emergency—based on real-time system demands. Offering up to 36U of usable space, it is designed for sensitive IT environments, allowing use in locations prone to dust, power outages, temperature management challenges, and physical security concerns.

As a fully integrated model, it eliminates the need for custom-built IT rooms, reducing capital investment costs by up to 48%, on-site engineering costs by up to 40%, and maintenance costs by up to 7%. EcoStruxure Micro Data Centers standardize designs across multiple environments and can be ordered as an all-in-one solution, simplifying construction and maintenance.

Schneider Electric offers its best-in-class design tool, the Local Edge Configurator, along with a global supply chain, partner and IT alliance ecosystem, and global compliance and certification. Jean-Baptiste Plagne, Vice President of Schneider Electric's Energy Management business unit, said, "EcoStruxure Micro Data Centers simplify facility design and implementation by enhancing resilience and security through connected physical infrastructure and reducing operational costs through a cloud-based management platform."
