U+ Launches Cloud Security Pack for SMEs and Small Businesses
Seven PC security services offer discounts on cloud subscriptions.


LG U+ announced on the 8th that it has launched the 'U+ Cloud Security Pack', which allows B2B customers to use 7 PC security solutions on the cloud at a reasonable price.

The U+ Cloud Security Pack offers a customized PC security package to customers in the form of Security as a Service (SECaaS), a cloud platform built within LG U+'s Internet Data Center (IDC) without impacting PC performance. Offering multiple PC security services on a single platform, it is designed for companies in various industries, including manufacturing, distribution, and IT services, who want advanced security services without installing additional network and security equipment.

The U+ Cloud Security Pack is designed for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and small business owners. While large corporations typically purchase expensive security equipment, mid-sized and small businesses (SMEs) and small business owners may face challenges in establishing expensive physical security equipment. This can be overcome by applying cloud-based security services that do not burden initial introduction costs.

The security pack consists of 7 items: ▲Document encryption (DRM) ▲Integrated backup ▲Harmful website blocking ▲BIZ remote doctor ▲Personal information protection ▲Information leak prevention (DLP) ▲Ransomware prevention.

We are also planning to propose '3 types of discount packs (PC basic protection pack/personal information protection pack/ransomware prevention pack)' that allow you to choose the security service you want according to your demand and budget. △The 'PC basic protection pack' that provides BIZ remote doctor and information leak prevention services can be utilized by design offices/law firms/research institutes that handle documents or drawings. △The 'personal information protection pack' that bundles personal information protection and document encryption services can be utilized by hospitals/academies/hotels. △The 'ransomware prevention pack' that includes ransomware prevention, harmful website blocking/integrated backup services can be utilized by shopping malls/logistics companies.

Customers using other LG U+ corporate services can save up to 23% on monthly fees by using additional security services through a 3-year contract and bundled discount. For example, the basic PC protection pack that includes BIZ remote doctor and information leak prevention service can be used for around 3,000 won, which is up to 23% discount from the no-contract rate, with a 3-year contract and combined discount.
