Element14 announced on the 19th that it is supplying TE Connectivity's INTERCONTEC circular connectors. The INTERCONTEC plug-and-play connector simplifies modular machine design by offering various variations—such as power, signal, data, or any combination of options—with a single connector, and provides customized solutions for specific applications. Application areas include drive systems, robotics, automation, packaging, aerospace, food, and textile industries.
TE INTERCONTEC connectors feature a 1/8 quick locking system, allowing for easy, fast, and secure installation on control panels without the need for special tools. Using INTERCONTEC's crown clamp, EMC shielding mesh can be maintained without cutting.
Technicians can replace all defective parts without specialized training and minimize potential downtime. TE INTERCONTEC products are sealed to an IP 66/67 rating when coupled, support a temperature range of -20 to 130°C, and have a 500 coupling cycle rating.

The ' Speedtec 940 ' 6-pin power connector supplies constant power to drive motors, spindle drives, and servo motors, and facilitates high-speed and start/stop stress management. It handles up to 630V of voltage and up to 200A of current even in very demanding environments.
The ' Speedtec 623 ' signal connector is suitable for signal transmission in motor control and for monitoring the functions of complex machinery. The 17-pin connector is rated at 125V (AC/DC) and 7A. Quick release and industry standard M23 threaded versions are available in flanged or right-angle mounting forms.
The ' Speedtec 723 ' hybrid 10-pin M23 connector offers various configurations for custom applications and supports separate shielded data components. It meets requirements for higher electrical strength and can be daisy-chained for off-center control servo motors up to 850VDC. It can handle 30A wire cross-sections up to 4mm².

Element 14 adds 88,000 cables and wires
The cables and wires market is achieving a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 12% driven by growth in the 5G and intelligent automation markets. In response, element14 announced that it supplies 88,000 new cable and wire products from 370 companies including 3M, TE Connectivity, Alpha Wire, Belden, Lappkabel, Multicomp Pro, ABB, Brandlex, Hellermann Tyton, Panduit, and Huber+Suhner.

SK Telecom First Applies AI-Based Network Operations at Gwanghwamun K-Pop Concert
SK텔레콤이 3월 21일 서울 광화문 일대에서 열린 대형 K-팝 공연에 AI 기반 네트워크 운영 시스템을 처음 적용해 통신 품질을 관리했다고 밝혔다. 공연 전후 3시간 동안 모바일 데이터 사용량은 12.15TB로 직전 주말 같은 시간대보다 약 2배 늘었다. SK텔레콤은 AI 시스템 ‘A-One’을 활용해 5분 단위, 50m 단위로 트래픽을 감시하며 과부하 가능성에 대응했고, 임시 통신 시설과 현장 인력 운영도 병행했다. 밀집 행사와 외국인 이용 수요가 동시에 늘어나는 환경에서 AI 기반 자율 네트워크 운영의 현장 적용 가능성을 확인한 사례로 해석된다.
