Artificial intelligence (AI) semiconductor company Graphcore is opening a regional hub in Singapore to support its local teams and customers across the fast-growing ASEAN countries.

Graphcore announced on the 19th that it recently opened a Southeast Asia regional hub in Singapore.

The hub office supports Graphcore's local teams and customers across the fast-growing ASEAN countries, including Singapore, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Vietnam, Malaysia, Thailand, and Indonesia.

Demand for Graphcore's Intelligence Processing Unit (IPU)-POD data center computing systems continues to grow across Asia, with industry-leading enterprises adopting Graphcore systems for their superior AI workload processing performance and ability to leverage new AI technologies for innovative applications.

Recently, domestic companies NHN and KT announced plans to utilize IPU technology in their AI data center projects.

Graphcore also announced that NetWeb, a Singapore-based high-performance computing (HPC) and data center infrastructure solutions company, Cxrus, an end-to-end enterprise IT solutions provider, and INT2, a Vietnam-based HPC and AI systems integrator, have joined Graphcore's global partner program.

Graphcore is working with these new partners to enable innovative companies in the ASEAN region to deploy IPUs across cloud and on-premise environments, enabling them to leverage machine intelligence in finance, healthcare, scientific research, industrial and automotive sectors.The policy is to help expand it.
