NVIDIA (CEO Jensen Huang), a leader in artificial intelligence (AI) computing technology, has organized an event to learn about the latest AI trends.


NVIDIA announced that it will provide various learning opportunities to students around the world who want to learn about AI through the GTC conference, which will be held online from November 8 to 11.

Students can learn about innovative case studies in various fields, including deep learning, data science, high-performance computing (HPC), and graphics, through over 500 sessions prepared by renowned AI researchers and industry figures from around the world. In addition, GTC provides deep learning hands-on workshops and AI fundamentals sessions, as well as opportunities to network with numerous developers from around the globe.

A diverse range of students, including freshmen from Houston Community College (HCC)'s two-year AI program, are scheduled to attend this GTC. G. Raymond Brown, HCC's AI program coordinator, described the GTC as the greatest field trip in history. Launched in August 2020, the program supports skilled workers in entering Houston's rapidly growing job market.

HCC, which graduates more than 110,000 students annually, is one of the largest and most diverse two-year public colleges in the United States. Coordinator Brown, who sent students to the conference for the first time in April, said, “GTC will be a great educational resource, and the fact that it is being held virtually has brought about a tremendous change.”

GTC is one of the premier events in the fields of AI, accelerated computing, autonomous vehicles, and robotics. Prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, it was held globally, including in Silicon Valley, and attracted innovators from various industries. In 2020, as COVID-19 began to spread rapidly, GTC transitioned to an online event.

Most GTC sessions are free, and as the event moved online, concerns about the budget required for attendance disappeared. GTC speakers, educational sessions, and keynote speeches could be valuable resources for students.
