Formlabs, a 3D printing company based in Somerville, Massachusetts, has completed its large-format 3D printing product lineup with the launch of a new 3D printer that streamlines the large-format 3D printing workflow with new post-processing automation equipment.

Formlabs today announced the launch of Form Wash L and Form Cure L, fully automated post-processing systems for its large format printer lines, the Form 3L and Form 3BL.

FormWash L and FormCure L enable users to automate post-processing of large, high-volume prints and streamline their 3D printing workflow, consistently producing high-quality parts. These two machines complete Formlabs' large-format SLA product line, offering an intuitive and comprehensive solution for printing and processing professional, high-quality parts, and offering a cost-effective 3D printing solution suitable for large-scale, in-house production.

The FormWash L washes SLA 3D prints, and the FormCure L finishes the curing process, ensuring printed parts achieve optimal mechanical properties and accurate dimensions. Both machines are compatible with Formlabs' entire line of SLA printers and can be used for large-scale production or high-volume production of small parts.

Post-processing with FormWash L and FormCure L automates and streamlines the user's workflow by pre-programming settings tuned to each Formlabs resin. These validated, large-scale solutions are compatible with Formlabs' core SLA materials, including biocompatible and sterilizable materials produced in the company's ISO 13485 facilities.

Formlabs' complete line of large-scale 3D printing products empowers industrial customers with time- and cost-effective mass production. Designed with user convenience in mind, Formlabs 3D printing solutions dramatically reduce the hassle associated with the entire workflow.

Generally, large-scale printing is outsourced, so the cost of producing prototypes is high and the production period is long. With the launch of Formlabs' full line of large format printers, industrial customers can now create their own, saving time and money.
