Ansys Korea (CEO Moon Seok-hwan), a leader in the domestic simulation software industry, is stepping up efforts to foster talent for future vehicles.

Ansys Korea announced on the 16th that it recently signed a memorandum of understanding with the Future Automotive Education Council, composed of 10 domestic universities (Kyungsung University, Korea University, Yeungnam University, Ulsan University, Wonkwang University, Jeju University, Joongbu University, Korea National University of Transportation, Halla University, Honam University, and Hongik University), for the purpose of establishing a cooperative relationship for the cultivation of capabilities and educational innovation necessary for the development and manufacturing innovation of future automobiles.

The MOU signing ceremony, held at the Ansys Korea headquarters in Hoehyeon-dong, Jung-gu, Seoul, was attended by key figures including Ansys Korea CEO Moon Seok-hwan, Managing Directors Lee Young-woo and Kang Dong-hoon, and Department Head Kim Si-hoe, as well as Professor Bae Jang-ho of the Department of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering at Kyungsung University (affiliated with the Future Automotive Education Council), Professor Cho Chung-ho of the Department of Future Mobility at Korea University, Professor Sa Jong-yeop of the Department of Future Automotive Engineering at Yeungnam University, Professor Lee Jae-woong of the Department of Automotive Systems Engineering at Joongbu University, Professor Park Man-bok of the Department of Electronic Engineering at Korea National University of Transportation, Professor Ko Kuk-won of the School of Smart Mobility Engineering at Halla University, Professor Kwon Ki-han of the School of Future Automotive Engineering at Honam University, and Professor Lee Geun of the Smart Mobility Research Institute at Hongik University.

This Memorandum of Understanding was signed to establish practical measures, following a mutual consensus between Ansys Korea and the Future Automotive Education Council that specialized educational curricula must be developed and an environment created to foster talent that will lead innovation in future automotive manufacturing.

Memorandum of Understanding on this dayAt the meeting, Ansys Korea emphasized that it would actively promote the cultivation of innovative talent for the advancement and innovation of the future automotive industry by conducting seminars for information sharing and exchange regarding advanced practices from global companies and newly developed technologies, operating the Ansys Solution Training Center, conducting joint research and development of future automotive technologies, sharing information necessary for testing and research on future automotive technology development, and jointly utilizing facilities and equipment.

In addition, Ansys Korea and the Future Automotive Education Council plan to actively cooperate on matters such as the exchange of information and publications, the joint hosting of training programs, camps, and competitions for workforce development, joint promotion and marketing, and collaboration for employment linkages including field training and internships.

Ansys Korea has been actively working to foster innovation and development in the future automotive industry by establishing continuous cooperative relationships with various domestic institutions and companies, including co-hosting the 'Korea Autonomous Driving Developers Forum (KADF) 2021' last November.

In addition, Ansys has also announced strategic partnerships abroad with major global technology companies, such as IPG Automotive and NI, to support the development of autonomous vehicles.
