Congatec, a leader in embedded and edge computing technologies, has announced a management reshuffle to further accelerate its growth in software and manufacturing.

congatec appoints Dr. Dirk Haft as its new CEO. Dr. Dirk Haft announced on the 22nd that he has appointed Daniel Jurgens as the new CFO.

Additionally, Gerhard Edi, who was CTO, will become Chief Strategy Officer (CSO), and Konrad Garhammer, who was Director of Global Engineering, will become CTO.

The newly formed management team plans to focus on expanding the global business and improving the reliability and efficiency of the supply chain.

Congatec also plans to strengthen areas such as functional safety and critical infrastructure, where it must build new capabilities in software and manufacturing.

Dr. Darg Haft, the new CEO of congatec, holds a PhD in Physics from the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München and brings 20 years of leadership experience, including as a member of the Board of Management of Wittenstein SE and as CEO of attocube systems.

Daniel Jurgens, CFO, previously worked at VIA optronics AG and took VIA public on the New York Stock Exchange.

CSO Gerhard Eddy is co-founder of congatec and a veteran of the embedded computing industry.

As Chief Strategy Officer, he is responsible for future technology and product strategies and leads the expansion of strategic partnerships with technology suppliers, partners, and customers. CTO Konrad Garhamer, who joined congatec in 2016 after moving from Saab Sensor Systems in Germany, has been leading technology development while expanding the size of congatec's global development team.
