IAR Systems®, a global provider of software tools and services for embedded development, and Codasip®, a leading provider of custom RISC-V processor IP, have joined forces to enable the building of low-power RISC-V-based applications, and IAR Embedded Workbench® for RISC-V version 2.11 now supports Codasip’s L30 and L50 processors.

IAR announced on the 4th that it has recently formed a partnership with Codaship to help joint customers of both companies build low-power embedded applications based on RISC-V.

Through this partnership, IAR Embedded Workbench® for RISC-V version 2.11 now supports Codaship’s L30 and L50 processors.

The L30 and L50 are Codaship's small, energy-efficient embedded processor cores that can be fully customized and adapted to the requirements of specific projects.

IAR Embedded Workbench for RISC-V is a complete C/C++ compiler and debugger toolchain that integrates everything embedded developers need into a single integrated development environment (IDE). IAR Embedded Workbench for RISC-V provides advanced optimization techniques to ensure developers meet their application requirements and optimize the utilization of onboard memory.
