Meeting with Qualcomm CEO to discuss ICT cooperation

SK Square CEO and SK Hynix Vice Chairman Park Jung-ho said that Korea's ICT technology is attracting attention at CES 2022, the world's largest IT and home appliance exhibition, and emphasized the need to further enhance the status of Korea's ICT.

Vice Chairman Park Jeong-ho visited the SK booth at CES 2022, the world's largest electronics exhibition held in Las Vegas, USA from the 5th to the 7th (local time), and encouraged South Korean ICT companies that are performing well.

Vice Chairman Park added, “I ask for your support and encouragement for Korean companies that are solidifying their global ICT status by participating in CES 2022 even in the midst of the COVID-19 situation,” and urged that SK’s commitment to achieving “Net Zero” be fully conveyed.

Meanwhile, Vice Chairman Park discussed cooperation in the semiconductor and ICT sectors with Cristiano Amon, CEO of Qualcomm, the world's leading wireless technology innovator, at CES 2022 on the 6th. SK Hynix explored joint development of data center applications and PC-ready memory. SKT has agreed to cooperate and invest in 5G-related B2C/B2B business areas, including the metaverse and smart factory businesses.
