Agilent Korea Announces 802.11ac WLAN One-Box Test Solution and Multiport Adapter for Increased Manufacturing Output

Agilent Korea (CEO and President Yoon Deok-kwon) announced a new wireless communication test set and multi-adapter used by wireless device manufacturers to quickly and accurately test 802.11a/b/g/n/ac WLAN, Bluetooth 1.0–4.0, and Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) technologies.
"This integrated one-box solution protects customer investments with a future-proof PXI-based hardware architecture and Agilent's proven measurement software architecture," said Agilent Korea. "We have been working on a multi-adapter design that provides unique and flexible production test ports for maximum production throughput."
The key features of the new Agilent E6630A wireless communication test set are as follows.
o Supports multiple wireless communication formats: 802.11a/b/g/n/ac WLAN, Bluetooth 1.0–4.0, and GNSS (GPS, Galileo, GLONASS, etc.)
o Streamline the process from product launch to mass production using wireless communication standard connection calibration and verification testing based on the proven technology of Agilent X-Series applications
o Provides accurate measurement results quickly with the latest PXI hardware architecture that offers up to two pairs of sources and analyzers in a single instrument.
o Streamline the integration process into manufacturing production testing for chipset manufacturers, including the latest WLAN chipsets, using the Agilent Manufacturing Test Integration Program.
In addition, the main features of the E6618A multi-adapter are as follows.
o The test plane can be expanded to a maximum of 8 RFIOs and 4 GNSS outputs.
o metSupports real-time port balancing for rig-level power accuracy
o Support for parallel test flows to increase production output
