Hong Kong local store "Stand By Me" begins display and sales
LG Electronics announced on the 16th that it held a 'Stand By Me' launch event at Hong Kong's Central Market and set out to capture overseas MZ generation customers.
At this event, LG Electronics set up four experiential booths decorated as indoor spaces such as living rooms and kitchens and introduced various use cases of LG StandbyMe.
Each space offers a variety of viewing experiences, and visitors can freely experience the products by using Apple Airplay to connect their mobile devices to the screen or check and control the operating status of home appliances.
In addition, StandbyMe can be used in various ways, such as home entertainment, home training, live broadcasting screen, and study and work.
LG Electronics said that the product's differentiated form factor, which allows users to move the product around the house using the moving wheel, rotate the screen vertically depending on the content being viewed, and freely adjust the screen position to suit one's viewing posture, has received a lot of attention.
LG StandbyMe is a 27-inch (approximately 68 centimeters diagonal) touchscreen It has a display.

Han Yu-ri, head of LG Electronics Hong Kong, said, “We will deliver differentiated customer experiences to more consumers by leveraging the differentiated form factor of LG StandbyMe.”
Meanwhile, LG Electronics nearly tripled its production of "Stand By Me" in December of last year compared to its initial launch, fueled by its popularity. The company also significantly expanded the production line at its Gumi, Gyeongsangbuk-do, plant, where "Stand By Me" is produced.
