Realizing the development, implementation, and provisioning of secure unique IDs

The partnership between SecureThings and IntrinsicID is expected to enhance competitiveness across the entire embedded market by integrating provisioning services and PUF technology.

SecureThingz, a subsidiary of IAR Systems Group, announced on the 18th that it is partnering with Intrinsic ID, a provider of Physical Unclonable Function (PUF) security IP.

Through this partnership, we plan to integrate IntrinsicID's PUF into SecureThings' development and provisioning solutions.

With SecureThings' security solutions, enterprises can implement a strong Root of Trust (RoT) as part of the development process and extend it to programming and provisioning.

It can also support the use of PUF technology in large-scale global programming and provisioning services.

This is ensured through an immutable boot path of a boot manager that verifies software before execution and a secure microcontroller execution environment throughout the entire development, manufacturing, and lifecycle of the product.
