■ IoT-based integrated architecture platform for industrial sites and equipment manufacturers

Schneider Electric's EcoStruxure™ Machine is an IoT-based integrated architecture platform designed for industrial sites and machine equipment manufacturers.

This digital platform consists of three stages: △connected products △edge control △application analysis and services.

Hardware and software converge to provide equipment manufacturers with benefits across the entire product life cycle, including design, engineering, operation, and maintenance.

This provides equipment manufacturers with quality services and a high level of security.

■ Evolution of HVAC application control technology

Pre-programmed applications with PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) Control technologies applied to HVAC are also evolving as they evolve toward an integrated architecture based on Programmable Automation Controllers (PACs) that can implement libraries and open engineering environments.

The Modicon M171/172 models feature reduced manufacturing costs when selecting the right controller for the application and reduced energy consumption through control algorithms.

It also provides ready-to-use applications for chillers and air handling units (AHUs) and reduces time to market by 30% through smart design and engineering.

Additionally, the Altiva Series inverter, a VSD (Variable Speed Drive) product, sets the standard for drive performance by expanding equipment availability with proven safety and durability, thereby increasing the energy efficiency of HVAC systems.

■ Digital technology-based integrated analysis and management advisor

Schneider Electric's advisory platform consists of three components for integrated analysis and management based on digital technologies.

The first is EcoStruxure Machine Advisor, a cloud-based digital platform for equipment management.

Second, EcoStruxure Secure Connect Advisor (Pro-face Connect) connects to the cybersecurity cloud and remotely diagnoses problems by accessing end-user devices where problems are occurring.

The final EcoStruxure Augmented Operator Advisor enables contactless equipment management through augmented reality.
