An application platform is launched to help improve developer experience and productivity and ensure a more stable software supply chain.

VMware announced on the 24th the official launch of VMware Tanzu Application Platform, which supports easy application development, deployment, and management on all Kubernetes platforms.

VMware Tanzu Application Platform is a developer-friendly application platform that dramatically improves developer experience and productivity, enabling enterprises to secure a more stable software supply chain across the entire application development and production chain.

VMware Tanzu Application Platform is a modular, application-centric platform that provides a variety of developer tools and proven paths to help developers rapidly build and deliver software to multiple public clouds or on-premises Kubernetes clusters.

It improves developer productivity and user experience by supporting faster and more secure app development and delivery based on self-service through the Kubernetes abstraction layer. It's designed to be able to lift everything.

Get up to speed quickly on your first app development with VMware Tanzu templates optimized for cloud-native patterns.

Once developers complete their coding, a secure software supply chain is automatically activated.

The process from development to production is fast and smooth, minimizing friction caused by application transitions between DevSecOps.
