Schneider Electric (Korea Branch CEO Kyung-Rok Kim), a global company leading digital innovation in energy management and automation, has been selected as one of the Global 100 Most Sustainable Corporations for 11 consecutive years, demonstrating its global recognition for its sustainable business capabilities.

Schneider announced on the 3rd that it had been selected for the 11th consecutive year on the list of the Global 100 Most Sustainable Corporations by Corporate Knights.

Corporate Knights, a Canadian media group and investment research firm, annually surveys more than 6,900 companies with over $1 billion in revenue to select the top 1% of most sustainable companies. The evaluation is based on 23 key performance indicators (KPIs) covering resource management, employee management, financial management, and supplier performance, with the company's clean revenue and investment weighting at 50% of the evaluation score.

According to Corporate Knights, this year's list of the 100 most sustainable global companies generates more than four times more profit per ton of carbon emissions than the average company in the Morgan Stanley Capital International (MSCI) All Country World Index (ACWI), a market capitalization-weighted index of about 1,500 companies worldwide.

Schneider Electric has been included in Corporate Knights' Global 100 since 2012, ranking first in 2021 and fourth this year.

Schneider Electric has been integrating sustainability into its business strategy, including strengthening its sustainability consulting business last year to support numerous partners and customers in sustainable innovation.

In addition, Schneider Electric was selected for the 2021 Dow Jones Sustainability Index (DJSI) for the 11th consecutive year, and received the highest grade of 'A (Leadership A)' in the 2021 CDP Climate Change evaluation announced by the international non-profit organization CDP (Carbon Disclosure Project), and was recognized for its ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) activities by four global sustainability evaluation organizations.
