LG Electronics has launched a full-scale offensive on the domestic projector market by introducing a CineBeam laser product that provides a 4K UHD resolution screen regardless of the installation angle.

LG Electronics announced on the 13th that it is launching a new LG CineBeam Laser 4K product in the domestic market that features both high definition and convenience.

The new LG CineBeam Laser 4K product (series name: HU715Q) utilizes an ultra-short throw method to create an extra-large 100-inch (diagonal length approximately 254cm) screen even when installed about 21.7cm from the wall, which is about the span of a hand.

It supports 4K UHD resolution and a contrast ratio of 2,000,000:1, and has a maximum brightness of 2,500 ANSI lumens, which is equivalent to turning on 2,500 lights simultaneously.

The ambient light sensor automatically adjusts screen brightness according to surrounding light, and also automatically adjusts light output to match the video being played, allowing customers to enjoy a screen optimized for the viewing environment and content.

The new LG CineBeam Laser 4K product, which uses a projection method, is equipped with a triple screen adjustment function that allows a screen of approximately 100 inches to be projected at any desired location from any angle at a distance of about 4.7 meters from the wall.

By utilizing this feature, customers can easily create a perfectly rectangular screen even if they place the product in a corner of the living room and project the image diagonally toward the opposite side. there is.

It reduces the hassle of installing a projector by hanging it from the ceiling or moving the product to project a flat image.

The two new LG CineBeam Laser 4K models support Dynamic Tone Mapping, which divides every scene visible on the screen into thousands of small zones and maximizes HDR effects for each zone, delivering a three-dimensional and vivid image.

In addition, equipped with LG Electronics' software platform webOS 6.0, customers can access the internet and enjoy various OTT services such as YouTube, Netflix, and Disney+ without connecting external devices.

In addition, it supports AirPlay 2 and Miracast, allowing for convenient screen sharing with both iOS-based and Android-based devices.

It also supports HDMI 2.1 ports and wireless connections such as Bluetooth.

The shipping prices are 3.69 million won for the ultra-short throw (HU715Q series) product and 2.99 million won for the projection type (HU710PW) product, respectively.

Meanwhile, LG Electronics has been introducing a diverse lineup optimized for customers' lifestyles since launching the LG CineBeam brand in 2018.

According to market research firm PMA, LG Electronics ranks first in the domestic home projector market with a market share of approximately 55% based on revenue (as of the cumulative third quarter of last year).
