August 7, 2013 – Linear Technology Korea (CEO Hong Sa-kwak) announced the launch of the LT6015, a single Over-the-Top® operational amplifier that delivers excellent precision over an input common-mode voltage range of 0V to 76V. This product features multiple built-in fault-tolerant functions that maintain performance without degradation across a wide range of operating supply and temperature ranges.

Over-the-Top inputs perform true operating functions above the V+ rail. The LT6015 operates normally with input voltage up to 76V relative to V–, independent of whether V+ is 3V or 50V. The input offset voltage is a maximum of 80µV, the input bias current is 5nA, and the low-frequency noise is 0.5µVP-P. Through these characteristics, the LT6015 is suitable for a wide range of applications including precision industrial, automotive, and instrumentation. The fault protection mode provides protection against negative transients, reverse battery, and other conditions. Thus, the LT6015 is ideal for applications where the amplifier is on a different board at the analog interface, and is also suitable for high-side and low-side current sensing.
