Agilent Korea (CEO-President Yoon Deok-kwon) has launched the M9391A, a PXIe vector signal analyzer for testing the latest wireless communication technology standards, supporting up to 160 MHz bandwidth at frequencies ranging from 1 MHz to 3 GHz or 6 GHz. Used with Agilent's modular X-Series applications, the M9391A supports the same user interface and similar measurement methods as existing products to accelerate test development and manufacturing productivity, and is also compatible with previous API versions.

The M9391A is designed for testing and design verification of wireless power amplifiers, transceivers, and wireless communication base stations (picocells and femtocells), in conjunction with the existing M9381A PXIe vector signal generator. This product enables more tests to be performed in a shorter time than existing products, thereby significantly reducing manufacturing costs. Furthermore, by applying innovative Fastune technology to rapidly adjust frequency and amplitude, it reduces servo-loop test times to unprecedented levels, and by adopting a hardware-accelerated output measurement system, it maximizes manufacturing throughput while maintaining output accuracy.

Agilent’s X-Series measurement applications, used with modular equipment, support the analysis of wireless communication standard signals. By combining the proven performance of the X-Series measurement applications with the new PXI Vector Signal Analyzer, engineers can accelerate measurements while ensuring code compatibility and measurement continuity. The X-Series measurement applications natively support major wireless communication and other wireless connection formats such as LTE, GSM, W-CDMA, and 802.11ac, and were developed to provide support for future new technology standards without hardware replacement.

Engineers can use the M9391A PXIe vector signal analyzer in conjunction with the Agilent M9381A and Modular X-Applications to test broadband power amplifiers, front-end modules, transceivers, and more. The PXI vector signal analyzer supports a 40-MHz RF bandwidth and can be upgraded to 100-MHz or 160-MHz bandwidth to provide ultra-fast modulation analysis through real-time hardware resampling. Hardware can be upgraded via a license-key upgrade method to meet new requirements.
