Gwangju Metropolitan City, Smart Appliance Technology Support
Published2022.03.17 16:45Gwangju Metropolitan City is moving forward with activating the smart appliance industry through smart appliance technology support.
Gwangju Metropolitan City announced that it is recruiting companies to receive technology support for establishing a specialized smart appliance industry foundation by April 4th.
Target companies are SMEs in the smart appliance industry sector with their headquarters, factories, research institutes, or branch offices located in Gwangju, based on the address on their business registration certificate, and must be in the smart appliance and upstream/downstream related product (technology) fields.
The technology support program consists of four types: △prototype manufacturing, △product improvement, △mold design/manufacturing, and △product concept design. The total support scale is 680 million won, with a plan to select and support up to 40 projects.
Gwangju City will review applicant eligibility and appropriateness based on submitted applications, then conduct final selection by evaluating business execution capability, commercialization plan, and expected effects through a selection evaluation committee composed of experts.
