3DEXPERIENCE company Dassault Systèmes has signed a business agreement with the Korea Research Institute of Shipbuilding and Marine Engineering to accelerate the digital transformation of the shipbuilding industry and take the lead in creating a marine ICT industry ecosystem.

Dassault Systèmes announced on the 29th that it has signed a business agreement with the Korea Research Institute of Shipbuilding and Marine Engineering for the dissemination of digital technology and technology commercialization in the shipbuilding industry.

Dassault Systèmes and the Korea Research Institute of Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering stated that this agreement aims to cooperate on technology development to promote ICT convergence and digital transformation in the shipbuilding industry, and to contribute to the creation of a digital industrial ecosystem and national economic development.

Dassault Systèmes announced that it plans to actively cooperate with small and medium-sized shipbuilding companies in the dissemination of advanced technologies, such as big data, AI, and the metaverse.

He also stated that he would provide simulation technology training to small and medium-sized shipbuilding companies through digital twin technology and utilize it jointly.

In addition, Dassault Systèmes participates in civil-military cooperation to advance the defense MRO business and foster specialized vessels, and operates technology exchange and consultative bodies to create a marine ICT industry ecosystem.
