Robotree, a manufacturer of robots, educational toys, and content, revealed its ambition for the global smart toy market by unveiling a platform at 'World IT Show 2022' that allows for easy customization of various robots and toys.

On the 22nd, at the World IT Show 2022 (WIS 2022), the largest domestic ICT exhibition held at COEX in Seoul under the theme of "Innovation for Tomorrow," Robotree presented a new technology under the theme of "Robot Customization O2O Platform Utilizing Digital Twin Technology Connecting the Metaverse and Reality."

Due to COVID-19, the global smart toy market size has grown from approximately 6 trillion won to approximately 20 trillion won, with sales growth through Roblox and Mattel Interaction considered a major factor.

Robotree stated that as interest in robots grows, they aimed to implement a service that allows even elementary school students to easily create robots with just a click, without using complex tools such as Roblox or Zepeto.

Robotree demonstrated examples such as RC cars, drones, and bipedal robots implemented using the platform, highlighting the advantage that custom robots can be simulated and operated in real life.

"Existing static services that cannot be simulated make it difficult to generate user interest and motivation. Through Parov, a service that allows users to easily customize various robots, we provide diversity in results and a high degree of freedom for customization, helping to sustain user interest," said a presenter at Robotree.

Robotree introduced collaborating companies, including educational institutions, offline stores, competitions, and experience centers, and enhanced its services to users by stating that it has a price advantage by using 3D robot model 2D design blueprint conversion technology.

Robotree secured 23 million users within six months of launching its service and is currently focusing on securing users, stating, “We will expand services that allow children to actually build robots and implement them in the metaverse.”
