Agilent Korea Wins Minister's Award at Korea Precision Industry Technology Conference
Published2013.11.04 14:27Proficiency testing is a comprehensive evaluation of whether the calibration quality of the calibration institution maintains traceability to national standards, whether accurate and precise calibration results are produced, and whether the method of calculating calibration results is proven by objective and statistical techniques; the evaluation results can be considered an indicator of the calibration technical capability of the calibration institution.
Agilent Korea Calibration Center won the Small and Medium Business Administration Award in the precision measurement capability sector (electrical field) in 1999 and the Prime Minister's Award in the precision measurement capability sector (electromagnetic field) in 2000. With this award, it has achieved the distinction of winning in all three major precision measurement capability sectors.
"This award served as an opportunity to reaffirm to both domestic and international audiences that we possess the highest quality calibration technology in Korea's advanced industrial sector," said Yoon Deok-kwon, President of Agilent Korea. "Moving forward, as an internationally accredited calibration institution, Agilent Korea plans to devote its full attention to upgrading precision measurement and calibration technologies to provide high-quality calibration services at reasonable prices based on this advanced quality technology, while simultaneously resolving customers' concerns regarding uncertainty through the best possible service."
