Universal Robots, a global collaborative robot company, is participating in SIMTOS 2022 to showcase its e-series models and present ways for domestic manufacturers to automate production technologies using collaborative robots.

Universal Robots announced that it will participate in SIMTOS 2022 (The 19th Seoul International Manufacturing Technology Show), hosted by the Korea Machine Tool Industry Association, which will be held at the entire KINTEX from Monday, May 23 to Friday, May 27.

SIMTOS 2022 is the largest domestic production and manufacturing technology exhibition hosted by the Korea Machine Tool Industry Association, with over 1,000 companies from more than 30 countries participating across 4,800 booths.

Universal Robots demonstrates use cases for collaborative robots tailored to various situations, such as hazardous work environments requiring non-contact, heavy-duty movement, and intricate repetitive tasks.

Universal Robots stated that the Model e-Series robots being demonstrated at this event are equipped with self-hazard detection capabilities, allowing them to work alongside human operators without separate safety fences, and that their small footprint enables rapid and flexible deployment in various production environments.

In addition to this, palletizing, pick-and-place, and press machines using collaborative robots Demonstrates a process using Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs).
