3D printing specialist El Corporation (CEO Lim Jun-hwan) is leading the way in supporting 3D printing in the advanced defense industry.


El Corporation announced on the 14th that it will be introducing a large number of cutting-edge 3D printing equipment at the '2022 Korea Military Industry Development Exhibition (InLEX 2022)' hosted by the Army Training Command and the Korea Defense MICE Research Institute at the Daejeon Convention Center for three days from the 15th to the 17th.

At this event, global 3D printing company Formlabs will introduce its 'Fuse 1', 'Form 3B', 'Form 3L', 'Form Wash L', which removes residual resin remaining on 3D printed parts, and 'Form Cure L', which helps high-strength hardening so that printed parts can reach their mechanical properties.

In addition, the cutting-edge 3D printing technologies and products of major global 3D printing companies leading the global market will be showcased, including the 'Markforged X7' and 'Mark Two', which are the flagship products of Markforged, a provider of integrated metal and carbon fiber additive manufacturing (AM) platforms, and the 'Snapmaker A350' of Snapmaker.

This year marks the third year of the '2022 Korea Military Industry Development Fair'.;It is the largest military-related exhibition and seminar in Korea, bringing together not only officials from each country related to the military power support system, but also those in charge of policy-required research and development (R&D) testing support work, and officials from various organizations, research institutes, and companies linked to the military.

In particular, the Defense Industry Development Fair was planned with the aim of establishing a stable defense procurement system and creating synergy between related industries through programs such as related seminars, exhibitions, new technology and new product briefings, advanced product demonstrations, and military-industrial meetings.

Through this, the Army Training Command and the Korea Defense MICE Research Institute will discover excellent products needed by the military, and companies will have opportunities to develop new markets, establish a foundation for exports, and exchange information.

Through this exhibition, L Corporation plans to showcase the excellence of its industrial 3D printer products and highlight the significant role 3D printers can play in the military by producing not only long-lead parts directly through additive manufacturing using 3D printers, but also a variety of tools and supplies.
