November 14, 2013 – Teledyne LeCroy Korea (Country Manager Woon-jae Lee, http://teledynelecroy.co.kr ) announced today the addition of a model providing up to 160 MHz bandwidth to its WaveStation series of general-purpose function and arbitrary waveform generators. The new WaveStation 3000 model features a 4.3-inch color display, an easy-to-use interface, two output channels, and PC waveform editor software. The new models are available in 80 MHz, 120 MHz, and 160 MHz bandwidths, each supporting a sample rate of 500 MS/s, 14-bit resolution, and 16 kpts of memory per channel as standard.

The front panel is designed for easy and simple operation of basic waveforms and various operating modes. Users can easily create basic waveforms such as sine, square, ramp, pulse, and noise. The large display is sufficient to show all relevant waveform parameters and waveform shapes. In particular, WaveStation's high-performance hardware generates accurate and stable waveforms. Furthermore, it produces waveforms more accurately by providing a high sample rate and high resolution that reduces jitter and harmonic distortion.

WaveStation provides PC software that allows for easy creation and editing of waveforms. The WaveStation software runs on external PCs and includes additional features for generating waveforms. Waveforms can be conveniently created using mathematical operators, digital filters, or sample points, and their shape and editing are also possible. In addition, it includes a flexible drawing tool that allows you to freely draw and generate waveforms on a PC, enabling you to output waveforms drawn on the PC to WaveStation. Furthermore, it provides a feature that allows you to import waveforms captured by a WaveAce oscilloscope via USB and re-edit them in WaveStation.

It comes standard with USB and GPIB interfaces, allowing for remote control or integration with test systems. I/O required for synchronization is located on the rear panel, while a USB port on the front panel enables direct waveform saving.
