The GE910-QUAD AUTO is a top-of-the-line quad-band GSM/GPRS Class-10 product targeting the automotive market, telematics manufacturers, and OEMs applying new designs or preparing for upgrades. The UE910-EU V2 AUTO is a variant of the existing dual-band UE910 V2 series, targeting data-intensive vehicle applications with data rates of up to 3.6 Mbps downlink and 384 Mbps uplink. Both products are built around the industry’s latest chipsets and offer long-term availability to protect OEMs and system integrators’ design investments.

These two new products feature 3GPP TS26.267 compliant in-band modems in compliance with EU eCall (Emergency Call System) regulations, and feature voice processing and tuning expertise accessible via a variety of AT commands. Additionally, it is developed and manufactured in accordance with the ISO TS16949 quality standards required for the vehicle OEM supply chain, and can be utilized as an optimal platform for all types of embedded mobile data applications used in line-integrated vehicles, telematics, fleet, and logistics management.

In particular, GE910-QUAD AUTO is equipped with 850/900/1800/1900MHz quad-band GSM/GPRS engine, which can be applied to applications used worldwide, and supports voice function on both analog and digital interfaces. Designed based on ARM11 processor core, GE910-QUAD AUTO can be directly applied to vehicle and telematics applications without a separate application processor by using Python Script Interpreter. It provides GPRS class 10 and 3GPP Release 4 compliant data communication, and is equipped with high-speed USB 2.0 interface and ten 1.8VI/O ports. In addition, embedded SIM chip is optionally provided through m2mAir service, which supports remote diagnosis and control of running applications without an external SIM card holder. The UE910-EU V2 AUTO is specialized for European automotive and telematics applications, supporting dual-band UMTS/HSDPA 900/2100MHz and 900/1800MHz GSM/GPRS/EDGE, and supports voice functions on both analog and digital interfaces. It is equipped with a high-speed USB 2.0 interface and UART port, 10 1.8VI/O ports, AC converter, etc., and supports Java J2ME, so it can be applied to projects that require an embedded application framework.
