Securing Reliability by Integrating the Information Security Management System into UMOS

By receiving ISO information security standard certification, FortiDot has secured the foundation for providing highly reliable services.

Autonomous driving and mobility startup 42dot announced on the 5th that it had received ISO27001:2013 certification, an international standard for information security management systems, from the British Standards Institution (BSI).

ISO27001 certification is an international standard for information security management systems established by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO).

This is the highest authority certification in the field of information security, and only companies that have passed strict screening and verified 114 detailed items in 14 areas, including information security policy, physical and environmental protection, operational security, and network security, can obtain it.

Through this certification, Forti2Dot has secured even higher reliability by applying a global-level information security management system to its urban mobility integrated solution, UMOS (Urban Mobility Operating System).

FortyDot is a full-stack (operating system and software) that moves on its own through Humos. (Overall) We are focusing on developing autonomous driving technology AKit and a mobility platform TAP! that provides optimal mobility.

Recognizing the importance of information security and establishing a relevant system since its inception, Forti2Dot conducts Personal Information Impact Assessments (PIAs) and mock evaluations at every stage of service planning and product development, proactively responding to numerous security threats.

In particular, as the software being developed becomes more complex, the secure coding guide, which addresses areas where security vulnerabilities may arise, and vulnerability management using a security inspection dashboard were recognized as strengths in this evaluation.

With this certification, Forti2Dot has been recognized for its secure development and operation processes for its autonomous driving services, including its autonomous driving technology AKit and its mobility platform TAP!, as well as its ability to manage the confidentiality and integrity of its partners' and customers' critical data, assets, and intellectual property.
