Formlabs, a leading 3D printing company, launches a high-performance industrial SLS (Selective Laser Sintering) printer to support a wide range of industries from dental and medical to engineering and manufacturing.

Formlabs announced on the 14th that it recently launched the 'Fuse 1+ 30W', an industrial SLS (Selective Laser Sintering) 3D printer.

'Fuse1+ 30W' is capable of manufacturing parts in-house within 24 hours, based on an excellent galvanometer system, a powerful laser, and a fast scanning speed of up to 12.5 meters per second.

In addition, it provides new industrial materials through an active powder processing system, and the nitrogen purge output option ensures the properties of the printed output are industrially competitive.

In addition, thanks to high packing density and powder reusability, printing with less waste is possible, which lowers the unit cost per part and enables a rapid ROI.

Along with this 'Fuse1+ 30W', a form designed for the end use of this printer'Nylon 11 CF Powder', a new addition to the Formlabs SLS materials library, was also introduced.

With the newly released nylon-based carbon fiber reinforcement powder, users can manufacture strong yet lightweight parts themselves.

Nylon 11 CF powder has characteristics such as carbon fiber filling, high hardness and dimensional stability, strong resistance to vibration/shock due to a high strength-to-weight ratio, and thermal stability.
