Rockwell Automation, a leader in industrial automation, is helping improve operational productivity across a wider range of industries with the PowerFlex755TS drive.

Rockwell Automation announced today the availability of the PowerFlex755TS drive, a PowerFlex AC variable frequency drive.

The PowerFlex 755TS drive is a 6-pulse drive that integrates Rockwell Automation's proprietary inverter technology, TotalFORCE technology.

Rockwell Automation said TotalFORCE was previously available only on the PowerFlex 755T drive with active front-end technology, but with the introduction of the PowerFlex755TS drive, it can now be used in a wider range of applications, including traditional fans, pumps and conveyors, as well as advanced motor control and process drives found in specialty drive solutions.

The PowerFlex755TS drive provides a consistent user experience for motor control applications in three aspects: flexible, high-performance control, operational intelligence, and easy commissioning and optimization.

Rockwell Automation offers flexible, high-performance control with drive power ranges, voltage ratings, and performance capabilities for multiple applications. By leveraging common drives, users can streamline support and reduce staffing burden, he said.

Additionally, the PowerFlex755TS drive's built-in predictive model continuously monitors and calculates the expected remaining life of drive components.

Users can replace components as needed instead of on a fixed schedule, reducing unplanned downtime and maintenance costs.

The PwerFlex755TS drive features adaptive control that monitors machine characteristics that may change over time and automatically compensates for any changes.

Users can quickly commission, maintain, and manage their drives without the need for tuning experts, reducing mechanical wear and improving uptime.

The PowerFlex 755TS drive has been tested and qualified under one of the corrosive environment protocols.

Available with the 'Corrosive Gas Protection (XT)' option to help improve uptime and extend operating life.

The PowerFlex 755TS drive provides an easy migration path from the PowerFlex 750 drive. The same slot-based architecture was used to allow users to continue using the I/O and safety cards from their existing PowerFlex 750 drives.

Premier Integration into the Logix control platform simplifies drive configuration and programming and serves as a drop-in mechanical and electrical replacement for the PowerFlex 755 drive, using the same physical dimensions, mounting holes, and wiring locations.
