Since the era of the 4th industrial revolution, the urbanization rate in Korea is expected to reach 86.4% in 2050 due to urbanization, and as concentration and large-scale urbanization intensify, the importance of future mobility encompassing both ground and air is emerging. A venue has been created to examine trends in the mobility and urban transportation system paradigm, such as eco-friendly demands for achieving carbon neutrality.

'Smart TransLogistiX', Korea's first smart road traffic and logistics industry exhibition co-hosted by COEX and the Korea Road Association, opened on the 12th under the theme of 'Digital On Your Way' and will be held for three days at COEX Hall A. Green Business Week 2022 was co-hosted.

This exhibition was held with 526 booths by 111 major companies and government agencies related to road traffic and mobility, including Gyeonggi Autonomous Driving Center, Korea Railroad Research Institute, and AWS.

Key exhibit items include traffic control and management systems, autonomous driving, smart road infrastructure, smart logistics and automation, and smart and bio packaging, all of which showcase the industry's latest trends in one place.

You can experience various new mobility technologies and products, such as 'ROOUTY', an integrated logistics management solution that applies an AI-based route optimization system, the 'Infocar' app that enables vehicle management and comprehensive diagnosis with a smart scanner, and 'DeepInsight', a volume measurement and management system solution that enables logistics inventory management with a 3D camera.

On the opening day, along with the exhibition, a seminar was held on the topic of ‘Smart Mobility and Future Road Changes’, with the participation of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, Seoul Institute, Hyundai Motor Company, and Socar, to discuss key industry policies. In addition, the 'Smart Mobility & Smart Logistics Innovation Strategy Conference' held for two days from the 13th featured expert lectures by speakers from major organizations and companies such as the Smart Logistics Research Center, Kakao Mobility, and LG CNS, and 200 people in the mobility and logistics industry attended to share the latest industry trends.

COEX President Lee Dong-ki said, “This is a professional business exhibition that provides a glimpse into the future of road traffic, mobility, and logistics, which are undergoing rapid changes and technological advancements in the 4th Industrial Revolution,” and expressed his expectations by saying, “It will be a networking and information sharing venue where industry-representative experts from academia, research, and government come together.”
