Schneider Electric's TransferPacT provides stable backup power to major facilities.

Schneider Electric announced on the 3rd that it has launched the Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) 'TransferPacT'.

An automatic transfer switch (ATS) is an electrical device that automatically switches to emergency power generation in the event of a power outage in critical infrastructure such as buildings, medical facilities, and factories.

The newly launched 'Transferfect' can be attached to panels and DIN rails. It reduces panel manufacturing costs and has excellent durability, so it can be used in environments where the operating temperature ranges from -25°C to 70°C. It also supports up to 630A and switches to emergency power generation within 500ms to prevent power outages.

Schneider said that it has applied the Plug&Play method, which allows the product to be used immediately by simply supplying power without configuring a separate sequence for machine operation, making it easy to install.

Users can select from five modules to suit their needs in industrial settings, including fire prevention, control & alarm, and remote control functions, and use the product. The built-in DPS and detection wires can save installation and commissioning time by approximately 30%.

Additionally, when replacing a module, the hot swap function in the blocking section allows replacement of devices or parts in an operating system without affecting the operation of the entire system.

In addition, through its own IoT-based solution, EcoStruxure™, it collects and analyzes data within devices to provide predictive maintenance functions and maximizes uptime to secure power stability in key facilities.
