Analog Devices Korea Appoints Yang Jae-hoon as New CEO

January 21, 2014 – Analog Devices Inc. (www.analog.com) has appointed Yang Jae-hoon as the new chief executive officer to lead its Korea operation. New CEO Yang Jae-hoon officially took office on January 2 and will oversee all of Analog Devices' business operations in Korea. In particular, he will focus on enhancing strategic sales capabilities in Analog Devices' core market segments including consumer, telecommunications and networking, industrial, automotive, and healthcare, while strengthening support activities for existing customers and working to identify new customers and expand market reach.
CEO Yang Jae-hoon brings more than 20 years of experience in advanced technology companies, with diverse experience in software development, consulting, and management. Prior to joining Analog Devices, he served as general manager of Wind River Korea Design Center, a company specializing in embedded mobile and automotive software development. He has also held executive positions at Cisco Systems Korea's consulting and technical services division and at Ivar Jacobson Consulting, an IT consulting specialist firm.
Howard Cheng, vice president overseeing sales and marketing for Analog Devices Asia, stated, "CEO Yang Jae-hoon is a highly qualified candidate with abundant experience and leadership to further grow Analog Devices' business in Korea. We are confident that he will make significant contributions to customer support and new market expansion in Korea together with many employees and partners."

CEO Yang holds a bachelor's degree in computer science from UCLA and a master's degree in computer science from USC.
