January 27, 2014, Seoul – Infineon Technologies (CEO Lee Seung-soo, Korea) has been included in the Sustainability Yearbook published by Swiss investment evaluation firm RobecoSAM for the fourth consecutive year. With this, Infineon, a German semiconductor company, has again been selected as one of the world's most excellent sustainable companies.

Infineon was also included in the Dow Jones Sustainability Index (DJSI) for the fourth consecutive year last September. The Sustainability Yearbook is prepared based on this index. The requirements for inclusion in the index have become more stringent than in the past, and this year, being in the top 15% of the industry was not sufficient for inclusion in the index; the evaluation score had to fall within the top 30% of companies in the industry.

The Sustainability Yearbook is the world's most comprehensive publication on corporate sustainability. Each year, this yearbook evaluates and documents the sustainability performance of more than 2,000 companies. In this year's yearbook, it is assessed that the influence of local governments, local communities, and NGOs has increased, and it analyzes the impact of their activities on corporate sales and reputation.
