Organizing Committee Signs MOU with Inventis Co., Ltd. and Ketabus Co., Ltd. Consortium
Establishment and operation of 3D exhibition hall and viewing platform for major participating companies

The 2023 Seoul Mobility Show will also welcome visitors through the metaverse.

The Seoul Mobility Show Organizing Committee (hereinafter referred to as the Organizing Committee) signed a business agreement with the Inventis Co., Ltd. and Ketabus Co., Ltd. consortium at the Automobile Hall in Seocho-gu on the joint implementation of the Seoul Mobility Show Metaverse construction and operation project, and decided to introduce the Metaverse to the 2023 Seoul Mobility Show.

The organizing committee is comprised of the Korea Automobile Manufacturers Association (KAMA), the Korea Automobile Importers & Distributors Association (KAIDA), and the Korea Automobile Cooperative Association (KAICA), including Organizing Committee Chairman and Chairman of the Korea Automobile Manufacturers Association (KAAMA).

The 2023 Seoul Mobility Show will be held for a total of 11 days from March 30 to April 9 at KINTEX Exhibition Center 1 in Goyang-si, Gyeonggi-do, under the theme of 'Sustainable·Connected·Mobility (sustainable and intelligent mobility revolution)'.

The signing ceremony held on this day was attended by Seo Jang-seok, Secretary General of the Seoul Mobility Show Organizing Committee, Oh Hoon-taek, CEO of Inventis, Ko Wook, CEO of Ketabus, and staff members. Through this business agreement, the two organizations will establish a new business in the metaverse space.We plan to construct a 3D exhibition hall for major participating companies in the Wool Mobility Show and build and operate a platform where various visitors can comfortably and enjoyably view the exhibition.

The organizing committee said it is currently discussing with major participating companies new cars and future mobility to be exhibited in the metaverse exhibition hall and 3D showroom.

In addition, the organizing committee, in consultation with the consortium, will set up an offline booth inside the exhibition hall during the Seoul Mobility event, where visitors will be able to experience the metaverse and enjoy various things to see and do, such as on-site events.

In addition, the two organizations announced that they will develop a dedicated application for the Seoul Mobility Show and provide information such as ticket purchases, information on participating companies and exhibits, experience events, and traffic information in the metaverse.

An official from the Seoul Mobility Show Organizing Committee said, “We hope that introducing the metaverse to the Seoul Mobility Show will provide an opportunity for more people to experience and enjoy the mobility ecosystem,” adding, “This Seoul Mobility Show will be a meaningful event where we can see the present and future of transportation, such as electrification and autonomous driving.”

Meanwhile, the Seoul Mobility Show is the only international exhibition in Korea recognized by the International Organization of Automobile Manufacturers (OICA), and is held every two years since it began in 1995.
