Domestic automakers are offering free inspections and emergency dispatch services during the Lunar New Year holiday.

The Korea Automobile Manufacturers Association announced on the 11th that it will implement the '2023 Lunar New Year Holiday Free Vehicle Inspection Service' in cooperation with domestic automobile manufacturers to ensure the safe driving of vehicle users during the Lunar New Year holiday.
All five domestic manufacturers (Hyundai Motor Company, Kia Motors, GM Korea, Renault Korea Motors, and Ssangyong Motor Company) will participate in the free vehicle inspection program during the Lunar New Year holiday, which will be held for three days from 8:30 AM on Tuesday, January 17th to 5:30 PM on Thursday, January 19th.
Hyundai Motor Company customers can receive free inspections by downloading coupons from 1,282 service partners (Blue Hands) and Kia Motors customers can receive free inspections by downloading coupons from 771 service partners (Auto Q) (from January 12th until supplies last).
You can download the free inspection coupon from the Hyundai mobile app 'myHyundai', the Genesis mobile app 'MY GENESIS', and the Kia mobile app 'MyKia'.
You can receive free inspections at GM Korea's 9 directly managed service centers, Renault Korea's 7 directly managed service centers, and Ssangyong's 2 directly managed service centers.
Customers who visit the designated service center during this free inspection period will be able to: △Check engine and air conditioner condition △Check tire pressure and wear condition △Check brake and pad wear △You can check the coolant and various oils, wiper, and fuse status, etc.
After a free inspection, if necessary, we provide a service to provide free on-site support for some consumable parts, such as fuses.
Additionally, in the event of a breakdown or traffic accident while driving, each manufacturer operates an emergency dispatch team at all times to provide quick support. In the event of an emergency, you can utilize this service to receive quick service from the nearest repair shop.
