Dassault Systèmes and IBM continue their collaboration to help companies achieve sustainable goals while ensuring business continuity.

Dassault Systèmes and IBM announced on the 19th that they would extend their cooperation with the signing of a memorandum of understanding to combine their technologies. We decided to combine Dassault Systèmes’ 3DEXPERIENCE platform and Virtual Twin EXPERIENCE with IBM’s asset management, resource optimization, environmental risk management, and ESG governance solutions.

A virtual twin experience is a data-rich 3D model that replicates reality with scientific accuracy, helping to virtually test and improve the performance of assets before physical execution.

Dassault Systèmes explains that combining the Virtual Twin Experience with meteorological and eco-friendly IT data optimization solutions can achieve: improved collaboration and knowledge sharing among system engineering, manufacturing, and operations teams; sustainable operational decisions regarding assets, personnel, and processes; and the integration of compliance considerations related to industrial and environmental regulations from the engineering phase to the maintenance phase.

Both companies plan to expand their business, centering on data centers, to include water and energy distribution and transmission operators, wind power operators, airports, and IT infrastructure providers.
