DeepL Adds Korean Service to AI Translation

Korean language launch expected to increase global market and customer accessibility
DeepL neural networks can identify differences in language nuances
Global AI communication company DeepL announced on the 31st that it has added Korean to its translation tool.
In particular, for businesses ranging from small merchants to large corporations, it appears that they will be able to access more international markets and customers by utilizing DeepL translation tools.
In addition, it is expected to help more people around the world understand Korean products and various services, as well as culture and history.
Jaroslaw Kutylowski, founder and CEO of DeepL, said, “Launching in Korean was a priority for DeepL,” adding, “With demand for our technology rising in Asia, Korean, in particular, is a language that many users have been waiting for.”
He added, “Our research and technology teams have put great effort into this launch to provide high-quality Korean translation services, and we believe that in Korea, an innovative nation driven by advanced technology, DeepL’s products and technology can not only satisfy everyday communication needs but also create new market opportunities.”
In 2017, DeepL introduced DeepL Translator based on its own advanced neural network technology and set a new standard for AI translation quality.
DeepL's math and technology teams have trained neural networks to grasp even the minute nuances of language with unprecedented accuracy in the AI industry.
As a result of continuous investment in R&D to maintain a lead in AI technology, we were able to continue expanding our product line and focus more on AI communication.
Most recently, they launched DeepL Write, an AI writing assistant that corrects grammar, expressions, tone, style, and word choice in English and German.
Meanwhile, DeepL is a translator used by millions of people around the world that helps facilitate more efficient communication with colleagues, entry into new business markets, simplified overseas travel, and smoother conversations with family and friends abroad.
DeepL can be downloaded and used for free via DeepL.com, desktop and mobile apps, Chrome and Edge browser extensions, and APIs.

Databricks Unveils Open AI Security Monitoring 'Lakewatch'
Databricks entered the security market on March 24 by unveiling LakeWatch, an open-source agentic SIEM. The core functionality of this product is to integrate and analyze security, IT, and business data in a single environment to support AI-based threat detection and investigation. The company explained that it reduces the limitations of existing security operations centers, which have had to forgo some data due to high cost structures, and enables large-scale data analysis and automation based on open formats and ecosystems. LakeWatch is currently offered as a private preview, with Adobe and Dropbox mentioned as early customers. Databricks also announced an expanded partnership with Anthropic as well as the acquisition of Antimatter and SiftD.ai.

Ecolab Expands AI Data Center Cooling Business Through Acquisition of CoolIT
Ecolab has agreed to acquire CoolIT Systems, a liquid cooling company for AI data centers, for approximately $4.75 billion. The transaction is expected to close by Q3 2026, subject to regulatory approvals. CoolIT has been supplying direct-to-chip cooling-based coolant distribution units, cold plates, and manifolds, serving hyperscale data centers and colocation operators as customers. This acquisition is a measure to address the high-heat and high-density server environments created by AI proliferation. Ecolab plans to combine its water management and digital monitoring capabilities with CoolIT's hardware technology to expand its data center cooling business.
