Stratasys launches new PolyJet 3D printer to slash prototyping time.

Stratasys, a 3D printing solutions company, announced on the 7th that it has launched the new PolyJet 3D printer, the Stratasys J55™ Pro, for engineering prototyping.

The J55™ Pro supports multi-material capabilities including high-transparency Vero™ UltraClear material, rubber material, biocompatible material, and engineered material, as well as grayscale color. It features a rotating print platform and features multi-material capabilities and material compositions.

Staratasys cited the following as the strengths of the J55™ Pro: △Lightweight design that takes up less space in the office, △Odor prevention using the ProAero air extraction system, △Low noise of less than 53 decibels, △Cost efficiency with reasonable price, △Ease of use of GrabCAD Print software, and △Quality assurance through integrated software.

It also features a 'ready-to-print' mode that requires no mechanical correction, allowing users to bring their ideas to life without interruption.

It offers multi-material printing capabilities, combining rubber-mimicking, high-strength, rigid, transparent, and biocompatible materials. It can print up to three materials simultaneously on the same tray. Customers can create digital material composite parts, assembly parts, or three single-material parts.

In addition, it has the following strengths: △Design for user workflow and office environment, △Production of prototypes that are similar to final products, △Reduction of time and cost required for prototype production, △Design of composite material parts, △Implementation of powerful design using PolyJet technology, and △Enhancement of user convenience.
