Seoul, February 25, 2014 – Telit Wireless Solutions (CEO Derek Shang, www.telit.com, hereinafter Telit), a specialist company providing M2M (machine-to-machine) modules and consulting services, is participating in the 'Mobile World Congress 2014' held over four days from February 24 to 27 in Barcelona, Spain, and is unveiling the 'm2mAIR Cloud' service.

'm2mAIR Cloud' is configured as part of a 'One Stop. One Shop' strategy that provides integrated construction from procurement through design and carrier certification, and is delivered based on the deviceWISE Application Enablement Platform (hereinafter deviceWISE AEP) from ILS Technology, an M2M cloud specialist acquired last year. M2M solution manufacturers can reduce costs, eliminate complexity, and shorten time-to-market through this service. In particular, by supporting plug-and-play style solution development, it is expected to lead growth in the Internet of Things market.

Through this service based on deviceWISE AEP, Telit plans to expand its portfolio by supporting secure communication and integration for all types of M2M applications. In particular, through smart agent technology incorporating a micro analytics engine, it supports management and processing by accurately transmitting data to the portal. The management division can easily apply M2M communication-collected data to enterprise IT systems through m2mAIR Enterprise software, enabling business decision makers to make decisions based on more accurate and valuable information.

Additionally, enterprises can easily construct gateways and transaction logic through the drag-and-drop development tool 'm2mAIR Cloud Workbench,' enabling end-to-end application design with minimal time investment. The m2mAIR Cloud service is available regardless of hardware and supports real-time transmission of information generated in all applications of all devices, transaction log operations, and bidirectional control.

According to a recent report from GSMA (Global System for Mobile Communications Association), which organizes MWC 2014, integration and partnerships along the value chain in the communications industry have been spreading. As a leading company driving such industry changes, Telit showcased an integrated solution where modules, mobile SIM, and services are integrated under the theme of 'One Stop. The open API of deviceWISE is planned to be embedded in more than 100 million Telit modules in the future, and remote control is immediately supported through the 'm2mAIR Cloud portal' upon module deployment.

This service, which represents the first industry attempt as an extended concept of mobile device management (MDM), supports module inventory management, mobile network diagnostics, IP/hardware testing, user experience management, and module reset.
