Sales of 300 billion won. World's Best Comprehensive Container Company

Ether City (CEO Wi Ho-seon) held a vision declaration ceremony at Shilla Stay Seo Busan on the 16th and pledged to achieve 300 billion won in sales by 2028.

Ether City is the only domestic manufacturer specializing in extra-large containers, having started producing extra-large pressure vessels in 1992 and accumulated high-pressure gas container manufacturing technology for 30 years to date.

After CEO Wi Ho-seon took office in 2020, the company began full-scale growth, winning the $30 Million Export Tower in 2021, and in 2022, following its existing ultra-high pressure steel pressure vessels (Type 1), it also entered the carbon fiber composite vessel (Type 4) business.

Thanks to these efforts, sales reached 86.6 billion won in 2022, a 54% increase compared to 2020, the first year of CEO Wi Ho-seon's tenure.

Going forward, the company plans to continue its existing world-leading capabilities in hydrogen refueling stations, hydrogen cartridges, and Type 1 storage containers, and actively expand into Type 4 containers used in hydrogen vehicles to increase its market share in the global market.

CEO Wi Ho-seon stated, “Achieving the world’s number one position in the Type 1 container market was made possible thanks to the efforts of our employees who focused on production and quality control,” and expressed his ambition to “become the world’s best company in the comprehensive container sector, including Type 4 containers, through our own technology.”
