Sense’s Mother is a sophisticated, adaptable, programmable device that transforms objects into smart, cognitive ones. It acts as the head of a family, leading 24 small, connected sensors called Motion Cookies, which are integrated into our daily lives to help make life quieter, healthier, and more enjoyable.

Motion Cookie, the first major addition to the ever-expanding Mother family, utilizes ST’s ultra-low-power, high-performance 'nano' LIS3DH accelerometer to detect and understand the movement of objects and transmit the data to Mother. The small, flat Motion Cookie can be attached to almost any device and features the smart embedded capabilities and advanced power-saving benefits of ST’s accelerometer. As a result, Sense’s highly efficient motion cookie can store ten days’ worth of data even when separated from the mother, and its battery life is one year, allowing for use for up to several months when on the move.
