Mouser announced today its continued sponsorship of the FIRST® robotics competition, which inspires innovation and fosters comprehensive problem-solving skills in tens of thousands of young people each year.

The 2022-23 FIRST Robotics Competition will feature over 3,400 teams and approximately 100,000 high school students from around the world, who will learn, discover, and solve a variety of engineering challenges.

Since 2014, Mouser has been a major sponsor of FIRST® (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology), a youth-focused nonprofit that advances science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) education through hands-on robotics programs. Mouser sponsors FIRST virtual and live competitions at the national, regional, national, and international levels. Mouser's valued partner, Analog Devices (ADI), also supports these events.

Global authorized distributor Mouser will serve as a key co-sponsor of the FIRST® Texas/UIL State Robotics Competition, which will be held April 6-8 at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston, Texas. Mouser will also support FIRST teams in their local communities by providing financial sponsorships to local high school teams.

Furthermore, Mouser will be the exclusive sponsor of the 2023 FIRST Championship Hall of Fame, taking place in Houston from April 19th to 21st. The Hall of Fame will be awarded to the winning team of the Impact Award, which recognizes the team that best exemplifies FIRST's goals and values at the FIRST Robotics Competition.
