Mouser Electronics™, a leader in New Product Introduction (NPI) that drives innovation, is stepping up to strengthen the capabilities of the next generation of engineers by sponsoring a robot competition.

Mouser announced on the 8th that it has co-sponsored the FIRST® robot competition for a consecutive year.

The FIRST® Robot Competition is held annually for the purpose of inspiring innovation and enhancing comprehensive problem-solving skills among tens of thousands of young people.

Mouser recently became the sole sponsor of the Hall of Fame for the 2023 FIRST® Championship held in Houston, USA.

This Hall of Fame honors the winning teams of the Impact Award at FIRST’s robot competitions, which best demonstrated FIRST’s goals and values.

Since 2014, Mouser has served as a key sponsor of FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology), a youth nonprofit organization leading the advancement of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) education through hands-on robotics programs. Mouser sponsors FIRST virtual and live competitions at local, regional, national, and international levels. Mouser’s valuable partner, Analog Devices (ADI), also joins in sponsoring these competitions.

In the 2022-23 FIRST Robotics Competition, approximately 100,000 high school students from over 3,400 teams worldwide will compete to learn, discover, and solve various engineering challenges. Mouser recently participated as a major co-sponsor of the Texas/UIL FIRST® Robotics Competition held in Houston, Texas. Mouser also supports FIRST teams within the local community by providing sponsorship funds to participating high school teams in the region.
