Mouser announced today that it is stocking TE Connectivity/Laird External Antennas' 5G Phantom ungrounded antenna product.

The TE Connectivity (TE)/Laird External Antennas 5G Phantom ground-free antenna, available from Mouser Electronics, serves the 617–7125 MHz or 698–7125 MHz frequency bands without a fixed ground plane, as well as areas requiring bands below 600 MHz.

This antenna provides global cellular coverage with a direct-mount threaded stud and integrated N-female connector featuring superior quality tamper-resistant features for tamper-resistant installation.

The 5G Phantom antenna does not require a direct coaxial connection, providing consistent performance even at higher frequencies, avoiding the performance loss associated with other mounting methods.

Minimum gain ripple around the horizon and uniform azimuth pattern provide consistency and minimum shift gain while reducing the possibility of signal dropout. The 5G Phantom series delivers high efficiency, exceeding 95% at frequencies up to 4200 MHz and with up to 8.0 dBi gain. These rugged antennas feature a durable IP67-rated enclosure and UL 94 flammability rating, as well as tamper resistance, making them ideal for harsh environments.
