CHawk Technology, a globally recognized company in precision components, subsystems, and integrated assemblies for semiconductors and medical devices, has opened an advanced manufacturing facility in Vietnam that performs gold plating and ultra-high-purity stainless steel orbital welding, thereby stepping up support for Southeast Asian semiconductor customers.

CHawk Technology announced on the 10th that it has completed the opening ceremony of its new 'GTI Vietnam' hub.

The newly established factory spans 51,000 square feet (4,738 square meters) and is equipped with robotic plating lines and Class 10k and Class 100 cleanrooms.

As the parent company of GTI (Gold Tech Industries), CHawk operates manufacturing facilities in addition to the existing GTI Tempe facility in Tempe, Arizona, in Singapore, Johor Bahru, Malaysia, Suzhou, China, and Hayward and Fremont, California.

By adding the new GTI Vietnam hub, CHawk, leveraging its solid management team based in Silicon Valley and decades of expertise accumulated in the semiconductor field, is now able to provide gold plating, ultra-high-purity (UHP) stainless steel orbital welding, and cleanroom manufacturing services to Southeast Asian regional customers from a location much closer to them.

CHawk has invested significant capital to acquire the Vietnam factory and expand production capacity through the addition of five new automated gold plating lines and the construction of cleanrooms for orbital welding and subcontract manufacturing.
