u-blox announced on the 11th that it has launched u-safe, a comprehensive functional safety solution for vehicle location tracking designed to accelerate the adoption of autonomous vehicles.

Common use cases for uSafe include ADAS Level 3 and higher applications that require excellent integrity and functional safety features.

In addition, ADAS Level 2+ applications can also leverage the benefits of this solution to enable their systems to be future-proof and transition to higher levels of automation.

Currently, u-blox is a provider of secure end-to-end location tracking solutions that comply with functional safety and SOTIF, combining proprietary hardware with customized software and calibration services.
